About Dr. Lanzillotta
Welcome to my practice! I'm Dr. Lanzillotta, a dedicated psychiatrist with a passion for helping individuals achieve mental well-being. I understand that seeking psychiatric care can be a significant step, and I am committed to providing you with the highest level of care and support on your journey to better mental health.
My Story
I earned my undergraduate degree from Loyola University Maryland before attending medical school at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. After obtaining my MD, I completed my psychiatry residency at the University of Pennsylvania, where I received extensive training in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions. My training emphasized both psychotherapy and medications to optimize mental well being. I am board certified and now undergoing advanced training in psychoanalysis at the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia.
Why Psychiatry?
I chose this field because I believe in the power of healing through understanding, empathy, and effective treatment. My goal is to empower my patients to take control of their mental health, reduce stigma surrounding mental illness, and improve overall well-being.
